Truth Education Foundation was born from a deeply personal experience, when a founder’s own child was excluded and expelled from early childhood programs—revealing not an isolated incident, but a broader systemic failure. Rather than accept surface-level explanations, the work began by peeling back the layers to understand the root causes of dysfunction in early childhood education. This inquiry led to centering the voices and lived experiences of those most affected by the system each day: early childhood educators, owners and operators, the business community, and society as a whole. Through research grounded in these perspectives, Truth Education Foundation seeks to identify, understand, and address the conditions, policies, and practices that shape educator wellbeing and, in turn, children’s outcomes.
